My name is Jamie Piff, though I also use others, and my pronouns are they/them (full name and pronoun list here). I'm white and a minor.
I switch from hyperfixation to hyperfixation a lot and don't have any active side blogs, so I can't promise what you'll get. I really like fiber arts, though, like spinning thread and knitting.
Plus, I love cats.
I am also incredibly, incredibly allergic to cats. Yes, the person cradling a kitten on my home page is me. Cat lovers with cat allergies rise up!

Q: Holy shit you know it's not safe to list your full name and family in your carrd right?
A: Yeah I know. :3c
Q: You literally never stop posting. Are you okay?
A: This blog runs on an untagged queue that posts 50 times a day. I tag unqueued posts with “not queued”, but that’s mostly reserved for donation posts and visibility day posts. (My personal posts aren’t queued.)
Q: I noticed you aren’t posting about x thing. Why?
A: Again, my blog runs on a queue. Wait a day or two and anything I queued will probably have been spit out by then.
Q: Why do you describe images?
A: For accessibility purposes. People who use screen readers can't get any information out of images unless there's alt text or an image description, even if it's a screenshot of a tweet and the text is very clear.
Q: Can you help me write image descriptions?
A: Yes! If you want to get started writing them, I collect posts about them in this tag! You can also DM me if you need or want specific advice.
Q: Can you tag [x]?/What's your tagging system?
A: I can tag that! I have two ways of tagging things. One is that I tag just the trigger, so I would tag "faces". The other is for things that have their own tags on Tumblr, in which case I'll tag them both as "[thing]/" and "[acronym]/". (For example, James Gaylord's Fantastical Adventure would be tagged as both "James Gaylord's Fantastical Adventure/" and "jgfa/".)
Q: What's your tag for videos without descriptions and captions, untranscribed audio, images without descriptions, etcetera?
A: I have a blanket tag for all of that as "inaccessible".

Q: What does your username mean?
A: It's my initials and then my last name. Yes I know some people call me Piff because of it, and also JG and Jigglypuff. Those are all great names. If you call me Piff I'm reading it as you starting a rivalry, though.
Q: Can I recommend music to you/send you a playlist I made?
A: YES! All the time yes!
Q: Did you softblock me?
A: No. I either fully blocked you or Tumblr made you unfollow me.
Q: Can I ask you for advice about [x]?
A: Absolutely! I can't promise my advice will be good, but if you need help with anything I'm willing to be that help. (Especially with like, gender stuff. It's tough to figure out and I'm here for you.)
